Lost Generalby =B-O-K-ECommentsThank you very much for your critique. I think you're right with the skin texture. Maybe I'm going to replace it (if I find something ...)
Hello again. I wondered, I mean I've always thought that everything I see in an artwork is intentional, and a stylistic choice. I was worried I was out of line in that critique.
As you've probably noticed, I'm just starting out...and I'm kind of overwhelmed by the sheer amount of talent from...everyone! So, if you have any tips for a noob, it'd be awesome if you could share. Thanks for the reply. Indeed, in this case i was looking for something that makes the skin look a little old (just like it's able to fall off in a second). But the more i look at my selected tecture, the more you're right
Hm... any tips... It depends on what you want to do. In case of manipulations i can help you Oh cool! I helped sorta!
Uh, well...I just like drawing, I would love to go into pencilling for comic book work, and I like the concept art scene for games and stuff...so I'm looking into digital. It's seems a lot of stuff is going that way, or has already. Um, I guess, does that answer your question? I don't have any, questions like how do get this resolution or is perspective or anything like that right now sorry. If I did though, could I ask you? Oh thanks for the reply! |
If I had to express any dissatisfaction, with this picture, I think it would be the papery skin. I love the vein effect, and I understand its undead, yet it really looks like scanned, crumpled, paper. Even with the gore effects on the skin, It's sort of a jarring contrast to rest of the hyper detailed, and realistic artwork. T.B.H. there's just something about this image that grabs me, and would probably eat my face if not for the gas mask!
